- Plaintiff claimed she was inappropriately touched by a Dr during ultrasound procedure and that other women had made similar complaints. Dr and institution denied the claims. Settled.
- Fifteen year old student committed suicide at a school. The heirs sued the school alleging it should never have placed the student given a prior suicide attempt and that the school was negligent on the day of the suicide. The school claimed it had conducted a rigorous admissions process and otherwise acted reasonably. Settled.
- Bicyclist hit door of common carrier after passenger opened the door, incurring serious fractures. Plaintiff sued both the common carrier and passenger. Liability was vigorously disputed with allegations of comparative fault. Settled.
- Mass Shooting related claims by over forty individual plaintiffs against a national security company, including two wrongful death and two gunshot victims, alleging negligent security at their place of work. Settled.
- Plaintiff suffered life threatening third degree burns and paralysis when he was electrocuted by a power line while working as a cable splicer. Over ten parties involved with multiple cross claims for contractual as well as equitable indemnity and additional insured provisions. Settled.
- Product liability action against the manufacturer and supplier of a compact utility loader alleging design defects which caused the machine to topple over and eject the operator who was killed. Settled.
- Product liability action against manufacturer and supplier of a bicycle alleging design and manufacturing defects causing a brake failure that resulted in catastrophic injuries. Settled.
- Plaintiff suffered severe brain injuries and quadriplegia in a scooter accident when he was hit by a driver of a mobility service provider. Whether he was barred from recovering non-economic damages under proposition 213, the Financial Responsibility Act, and whether the other driver was an employee or independent contractor, were critical issues that were evaluated in the settlement process and led to a successful resolution. Settled.
